No, it has no cheese notes - you'll have to imagine that. Or not. Kataifi (shredded phyllo dough) and ghee, baked until golden (in reality, the cheese also), then soaked with sugar syrup and topped with chopped pistachios. Not an overly sweet fragrance. (the K is pronounced in knafeh)
There are many variations of this popular dessert, often with orange blossom or rose water in the syrup, or semolina instead of phyllo dough. We went with the more traditional Nabulsi Knafeh, originating from Nablus, Palestine.

5ml (0.169 fl oz / 1.35 dram), and 10ml (0.338 fl oz / 2.70 dram) are reducer cap, 1.5ml bottles are steel rollerball.
