Perfume Oil: Flint & Steel

After the scout finds a reasonably safe area off the road, you direct the small caravan onto the narrow trail, watching closely. Your good friend and mage moves to light the evening fire but you gently stop her; your steel striker would be better just in case spells attracted unseen attention, beyond the reach of ordinary smoke. While never fully at ease, you do get to relax a little once the campfire is crackling, assured the worst is well behind your party now.  At least, you hope it didn't follow.
