New, 7/7/2024. Fyrinnae created powder foundation in three varieties around 20 years ago. That line of products was phased out in 2009. If you remember them from that time, you will see familiar shade names, but the product ingredients are now different and shades won't be exact as the old versions. We plan to add refill size in the future, and will mix two shades half-and-half by request.
There are two types, one for normal to dry skin, and one for oily skin. Samples are available, which are about 1/2 gram (about 1/4 to 1/2 tsp) in a clear jar. Full size is in a 30ml clear jar with a sifter, as shown below.
An excerpt regarding this line from our June 2024 newsletter:
"If you've "known" us since 2007 or before, you probably remember our powder foundation. Early last year we had toyed with the idea of bringing it back, with a few changes of course, but existing products took priority and I didn't get around to digging out the old products (we keep reference samples of nearly everything) until a few months ago. At which point I set them aside again for a while, but in April we fit in time here and there to redevelop and test a few new foundation types, then work on reasonably colour matching the old ones. I had hoped to have these ready before summer here, but they should be up in early July. This type of foundation is typically called "mineral", but all foundation is mineral; powder, liquid, or creme varieties all contain mineral origin colourants such as iron oxides, titanium dioxide, and zinc oxide. There are a couple ingredients in ours which are not mineral derived anyway (but plant sourced or synthetic). However, the old names are being retained, which were all names of gemstones and other, here's that word again, minerals. ... -T"
