It is widely known as our most "difficult" eyeshadow (but is very easy to work with), and will perform best patted on over a very thin layer of regular primer; Pixie Epoxy and many liquid mixing mediums can ruin the colors, turning the red brown and making the eye shadow gooey. Pressing not recommended.
Not purple, Mephisto is a dark royal blue with a vibrant metallic red sheen that's quite striking when the light hits it. Metallic finish, not sparkly. If the red turns coppery on application, add a little more. Not recommended over Pixie Epoxy, and for a more even application, try fingertip instead of brush. Patting the shadow on instead of brushing across may work best.
