Herbal, slightly sweet fresh basil with a bare hint of soil. Not minty or overly sharp, close to the scent left on your hands after picking the fresh leaves. Please note: Originally formulated in 2017, but not released with the Ancient Rome collection as we deemed it too simplistic at the time. Since then we have had requests for a true basil fragrance. Which is a little tricky because there are many varieties of basil which all smell (and taste) somewhat different, many having a licorice/anise-like taste (Italian Large Leaf or Spicy Globe basil for instance). So the basil from your grocery store may differ from what you've grown, which may differ greatly from the basil(s) commonly used for its fragrant properties 2000 years ago well before use as culinary herb. This does not contain Holy (Tulsi) Basil.

5ml (0.169 fl oz / 1.35 dram), and 10ml (0.338 fl oz / 2.70 dram) are reducer cap, 1.5ml bottles are steel rollerball.
