The remains of Via Dell'Abbondanza, a street once filled with shops and eateries for all residents of the city, as currently seen in the ruins of Pompeii

Perfume Oil: Via dell'Abbondanza

Discontinued 2/2023

(a once-bustling main street in Pompeii)
Bunches of fresh basil atop bittersweet labdanum with an air of warmer herbs and roots, and just the slightest hint of lime.
All fragrance components in this blend are natural botanicals.

Centering around Campania prior to 62CE, this collection is based on actual ancient Roman perfumes and fragrant flora, with a few slight variations added in. Some ingredients which were often used as skin scents, such as basil and labdanum, are in several blends, and we chose mostly plants native to the region, even though they did have imported light botanicals, resins, and other fragrant ingredients once trade was established with distant lands (or they went over and conquered...). While these fragrances do contain a carrier of isopropyl myristate, none of the fragrance ingredients are synthetic. This does mean a heightened chance for skin sensitivity, and we recommend spot testing prior to wearing.

Please see the Perfume category page for information about our blends and resting recommendations.

Roll-on bottles are available in 1.5ml, 5ml (0.169 fl oz / 1.35 dram), and 10ml (0.338 fl oz / 2.70 dram).
